In the ever-increasingly competitive world of mental health services provision, York-based charity Our Celebration (OC) has in the past been considered a highly regarded yet small player; commissioning authorities often preferring to grant contracts to the larger, national charities while some existing sources of funding for the local group were drying up.

Our Celebration asked us to develop a dynamic strategy that would allow them to pitch for larger contracts and develop other sources of revenue.

Our strategy included creating a fresh new identity, a root and branch restructure and redesign of their website and an effective programme to actively manage and communicate with OC’s donors and friends.

Enthusiastically received by clients, staff, commissioners and supporters, the new logo and was rolled out in the autumn of 2007 and, with the website development well underway and donor management programme building blocks in place.
